🚰 West Philly Boil Water Advisory
Philadelphians who live in zip code 19151, and parts of 19131 and 19139, are advised to boil water for one minute before using it. The Philadelphia Water Department said that between 3:45 and 4:45 p.m on Sunday, June 11, a pumping station serving a section of West Philly broke down, impacting 18,000 customers. 📺 ‘Abbott Elementary’ Breaks ABC Viewership Record
The second season of “Abbott Elementary,” the Emmy-winning sitcom set in a Philly public school, earned the highest viewership for an ABC comedy in three years. Based on 35-day, multi-platform ratings, "Abbott Elementary" averaged 9.1 million viewers per episode. [PhillyVoice]

💰City Council Budget Plan Would Drop Wage Tax
If City Council’s budget plan is approved on June 15, Philadelphians will save a little money as a result of the wage tax decrease. If the new budget passes, individuals who make the Philadelphia median income of $52,000, would save about $21 per year in savings. Those who bring home the average Philadelphia salary of $75,205, would save about $30. It isn’t much, but it might get you dinner one night! [Inquirer🔒]
