On Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4, you can check out a few Philly museums for free or pay-what-you-wish admission!

Monday: Explore 300 years of colonial Philadelphia history at Elfreth's Alley Museum.
Celebrate the grand reopening of Carpenters' Hall, the home of the First Continental Congress. Admission includes VIP guest speakers, historic reenactment performances, self-guided tours, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Enjoy exclusive evening access to the historic cells of Eastern State Penitentiary. Admission includes an audio tour, artist installations, and a chance to relax in The Fair Chance Beer Garden.
Tuesday: Learn the history of Cliveden, an estate that played a major role in the Revolutionary War’s Battle of Germantown.
Enjoy interactive galleries and guided tours that highlight the influence of the Bible on history at the Faith and Liberty Discovery Center.
🎊 Wawa Welcome America Festival
This 16-day festival wraps up on Tuesday with a free star-studded concert on Benjamin Franklin Parkway, featuring performances by Demi Lovato and Ludacris at 7 p.m. Before the headliners, catch a collaborative set from DJ Diamond Kuts and Snacktime at 4 p.m. Enter through Logan Circle at 20th Street.
Wrap up the night with a vivid fireworks display over the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Show begins at 9:45 p.m 🎆

The Fourth of July is a big deal in Philly, since we are considered the birthplace of the nation, as well as its former capital. So like everything else, we go big! There’s plenty more to check out including parades, performances, historical reenactments, and bar crawls.
