Why Philly’s Snow Drought Just Ended

For over 700 days, Philadelphia didn’t get so much as a one-inch dusting of snow. But this week’s storm changed that, ending our city’s longest snow drought. City Cast Philly podcast host Trenae Nuri is joined by Anthony Wood, weather writer for The Philadelphia Inquirer and author of “Snow: A History about the World’s Most Fascinating Flake,” to talk about snow totals and why Philly experienced a snow drought for so long.

By the way, Jason Kelce addressed the retirement rumors on his podcast yesterday — he says an official, definitive decision is yet to come. So don’t forget to be there for the hardcore Birds fans in your life during this emotional roller coaster of a news cycle. Enjoy your Thursday!
