💡 Boathouse Row Lights To Return March 7
The iconic houses along the Schuylkill went dark starting last spring for a lighting upgrade. The 6,400 newly-installed LED lights will be able to form 16 million color combinations and create sparkling or ombre effects when they reignite next month, according to the Fairmount Park Conservancy.
🛍️ Krasner Launches Property Crime Task Force
Philly District Attorney Larry Krasner announced a new initiative to crack down on fencing operations that resell stolen goods, update his office’s retail theft policies, and target home title theft. [KYW]
💬 Library Workers Can Post, After All
A new unified communications policy from the Philadelphia Mayor’s Office caused some stir among Free Library staff earlier this week. Some branch and department accounts posted that they’d no longer be able to provide updates on social media without first running them through Mayor Parker's communications team.
