🛣️ Nearly $159M for ‘Chinatown Stitch’ Plan
U.S. Sen. Bob Casey and U.S. Rep. Brendan Boyle visited Philly yesterday to announce a new, big chunk of federal funding for the plan to cap the Vine Street Expressway between Broad and 8th streets. [NBC10]

🏠 Northeast Philly ‘Tiny House’ Plans Canceled
A plan to build a small village of around two dozen 12’ by 8’ houses in Holmesburg reportedly won’t move forward after the Parker administration decided to drop it. The units were slated to be built by the nonprofit Sanctuary Village and used as rent-free transitional housing for women ages 55 and older. [Axios Philadelphia]

🏆 Philly Native Wins ‘Best Supporting Actress’ Oscar
ICYMI: Da’vine Joy Randolph — a Temple alum who grew up in Mt. Airy and Hershey, PA — completed her awards season sweep at the Oscars on Sunday night, after already winning a Golden Globe, SAG Award, and Critics’ Choice Award for her performance in “The Holdovers.” [PhillyVoice]
