🚧 Construction Begins on ‘Safe Route to Schools’
As part of a $4 million street safety effort, the Streets Department will be realigning intersections, upgrading traffic signals, adding green stormwater infrastructure, and more near elementary schools in West Oak Lane and Oxford Circle. [NBC10]
✝️ Faith and Liberty Discovery Center To Close
The $60-million museum at 5th and Market, run by the American Bible Society, will permanently close to visitors after March 28. [Inquirer 🔒]
🏢 New Health Tower Opening in Market East Neighborhood
Jefferson Health recently wrapped up construction on the 19-story, $762-million Honickman Center at 11th and Chestnut, which plans to start accepting patients on April 15. [Axios Philadelphia]
