Good morning! Did you manage to catch the solar eclipse yesterday? The clouds got me and I gave up on watching 😆
Here at City Cast Philly/Hey Philly, we’ve still got the other unusual natural phenomenon from the past few days on our minds — keep scrolling for local earthquake facts, including on today’s episode of the City Cast Philly podcast 🎧

Philly Chatter: What Were *You* Doing During the Earthquake?

Yesterday, I asked you where you were and what you were up to when the earthquake hit on Friday morning. Here’s what some Hey Philly readers said.
✈️ Marcia K.: “I was at my desk thinking that a really big truck was rolling by or there was a low flying plane. We started running around trying to figure it out when we didn't see a big truck or plane above. LOL! It was wild!”
🛏️ Jackie C. was in bed. “It woke me up,” Jackie wrote.
🧺 Chris K. was at home in Blue Bell. “We immediately thought that it must be the washing machine out of balance in the spin cycle,” Chris wrote. “The only problem: We weren't doing any laundry! But amazingly, on all my local feeds, 'washing machine' was a common theme. Shouldn't that be a message to the manufacturers? Fix your darned spin cycle balance!”
