Where Is It?

Welcome back to “Where Is It,” our weekly game where I show you a photo of some public art, and you tell me where in Philadelphia it can be found.

Last week’s image came courtesy of yours truly:

A mural of a man with slicked back hair, located on a corner building.
You might’ve gathered from the scissors imagery that last week’s image was another barbershop mural. (Asha Prihar/City Cast Philly)

This mural is located on the side of Lax Clippers Barbershop in Pennsport, which is located at the intersection of Snyder Avenue and East Moyamensing Avenue. Shoutout to Hey Philly readers Beth M. and TJ J. for knowing this spot!

On to this week’s challenge, provided by former City Cast Philly executive producer Laura Benshoff:

A colorful mural depicting three human figures.
Here’s a hint about this mural’s location: It’s not too far from a neighborhood mentioned in today’s newsletter. (Laura Benshoff/City Cast Philly)

Where in Philly can you find this mural? Let me know here, or send me an email with your guess.

A Foodie’s Guide to Chinatown

Chinatown is filled with rich history, culture, and — of course — food. To give you the best experience possible the next time you’re there, we’re revisiting the Chinatown food tour that City Cast Philly podcast food contributor Dave Wez (@feedingtimetv) took host Trenae Nuri on, running down everything from his favorite Peking duck place to where you can find pastries that look like pieces of fruit.

One more interesting piece of news: Apparently, Montco’s own Bradley Cooper has been submitted for consideration for an Emmy nomination for his rather brief (but pretty funny) guest appearance on Abbott Elementary. Could that put him one letter closer to an EGOT?

Enjoy your Wednesday!
