🏛️ Lawmakers Return to Work After Threats
State legislators were back in the Capitol building in Harrisburg yesterday, working on an overdue budget deal. [Inquirer 🔒]
- Over the weekend, anonymous bomb threats were emailed to lawmakers, prompting an evacuation of the building. Capitol Police didn’t find any explosives in their sweeps of the building. [Pennsylvania Capital-Star]
🎙️ Radio Host Resigns Amid Interview Controversy
Former WURD host Andrea Lawful-Sanders has left the local station after she used questions provided by the Biden campaign in an interview with the president. WURD’s CEO said that the use of those questions “violate[d] our practice of remaining an independent media outlet accountable to our listeners.” [Axios Philadelphia]
