Graffiti Pier’s Partial Collapse

A 10- to 20-foot section at the end of Graffiti Pier gave way and fell into the Delaware River early Wednesday morning, according to the U.S. Coast Guard. The cause of the collapse is unknown, and no injuries or missing persons have been reported. [PhillyVoice]

Abuse Allegations Against Juvenile Centers

A round of lawsuits filed yesterday included allegations from nearly 70 people who say they were sexually abused as children by staff at 10 different juvenile placement facilities across the state, including several in Philly and its suburbs.
