🕍 Historic Synagogue Targeted

Old City’s Congregation Mikveh Israel, a synagogue that dates to 1740, was the site of three alleged antisemitic incidents. First police were called to the synagogue after reports of a fire set in a dumpster. It was then reported that two men tried to break into the synagogue. And later that night, police said someone vandalized a statue outside of the synagogue. [NBC10]

  • In a separate antisemitic incident, three men have been charged with threatening three Jewish men with a gun and shouting antisemitic slurs outside of Bluegrass Billiards in the Northeast. [🔒Inquirer]
