⚖️ Son of Refugees Could Be Deported to Country He’s Never Set Foot In

Sereyrath Van, an undocumented Philadelphia man who moved to the United States 40 years ago after his family fled the Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia, is at risk of deportation due to a prior criminal conviction. But the process is complicated by the fact that the government wants to send him to Cambodia, where he has never lived, or Thailand, where he was born in a refugee camp. He is not a citizen of either country. [KYW]

🧑‍⚖️Shapiro To Trump: Show Me Our Money

Pennsylvania is the latest state to join a legal fight to restart federal funding after President Donald Trump ordered a pause on promised payments. A judge ordered the funds to be dispersed, but the state has yet to receive $2 billion for projects. 🏠 Parker Teases New Philly Housing Plan

Mayor Cherelle Parker is vowing to build, preserve, and repair 30,000 homes in the city. She plans to sign an executive order next week to form a housing advisory committee that will identify roadblocks in the development process, ways to make government procedures more efficient, and new incentives for construction.
