What's CITY Talking About?
🔊 What Does Philly Sound Like?
The hustle and bustle of city life can create a lot of noise. And for some, even the most unassuming sound can be a bit controversial. From bells tolling to loud talkers, we debate which sounds in Philly are the most annoying and which are the most wonderful. [🎧 City Cast Philly]

🥵 Summer’s Not Over Yet
Summer may be winding down, but the heat sure isn’t. We’re in the middle of yet another heatwave, so stay safe out there, as these temperatures can have an impact on your health. [CBS Philly, 🎧 City Cast Philly]
🇮🇹 End of an Era in the Italian Market
P&F Giordano Fruit & Produce, which has been operating in Bella Vista since 1921, is officially closed for good. John Giordano, one of the third-generation brothers who own the property, cited competition from other grocery stores along with the rise of food delivery for the store’s struggles. The landmark storefront has been featured in films like “Trading Places” and “Rocky Balboa.” [🔒 The Inquirer]
📖 Knowledge Is Food for the Soul
Forget taking someone out for dinner and a movie. How about dinner and a book? Wilder is hosting a quarterly book dinner series where you can join critically acclaimed authors for a five-course dinner and conversation. [Metro Philly]
