🚌 Senate’s Transportation Plan Won't Prevent SEPTA Cuts

Pennsylvania’s Senate finally passed a two-year, $1.2 billion transportation plan that mandates fare increases in perpetuity. SEPTA says much of the money that Republicans want to use to close the transit agency's operating deficit is already earmarked for maintenance and repairs, so drastic cuts to service are still planned for the end of the month.
