🚌 SEPTA Cuts To Be Reversed This Sunday
Those red signs should be removed soon. SEPTA is restoring service to its bus, metro, and Regional Rail services beginning Sunday following an infusion of funds from its capital budget. 💨 Poverty Drops While Asthma Remains High in Philly
We’ve got good news and bad news when it comes to the current state of Philly. The good is that we’re no longer the poorest big city in the country. With a 19.7% poverty rate, we’re now doing better than Houston. Not great, but an improvement. 🏫 Future of Philly’s Public Schools To Be Decided by End of Year
The School District of Philadelphia released data on enrollment and building conditions that will help determine which schools will close, merge, or modernize. The district intends to share recommendations on school closures and other changes with the Board of Education this fall. [Chalkbeat]
