💰 Emergency Funding Buys Rape Crisis Center Extra Time
After the Philadelphia Center Against Sexual Violence (WOAR) announced layoffs and cuts to services due to a lack of state funding, the District Attorney’s Office is supporting the center with $90,000. Services such as court accompaniment and crisis counseling will continue. [CBS Philly]

🗳️ How Philly Lawyers Are Judging the Judges
Who should you vote for in this election? The Philadelphia Bar Association recommended 13 out of 18 candidates, and anonymous survey responses gave insight on how hundreds of lawyers came to the decision. 🇺🇸 Volunteers Preserve Philly’s History Markers Targeted by Trump
A group of librarians, data experts, and historians banded together to archive over 10,000 photos from hundreds of National Park Service sites under review by the Trump administration due to “divisive narratives.” Independence National Historic Park was flagged for exhibits such as the slavery memorial the President’s House, but the display has not yet been removed.
