🐶 Dogs zapped while walking on city sidewalks

January 16, 2026 · — Siani Colón

Happy Friday, Philly! I continued my new journey to becoming a Flyers fan (yes, I was serious) by going to another game on Monday. We lost — again — but I did get the chance to meet Gritty. It turns out, he has a pretty sweet gig, earning $250,000 while throwing pies in people’s faces. That’s about how much our governor makes.

As we head into the weekend, mull over a new career as a mascot.
