Hope you enjoyed yesterday’s snow day! Conditions on the streets are still less than stellar. Here’s how the city is moving forward:

  • The snow emergency remains in effect due to freezing temperatures.
  • The city will begin issuing tickets to properties that haven’t cleared walkways.
  • The city advises NOT to shovel snow into the streets due to risk of freezing.
  • City offices and courts are closed today.
  • Public schools will have remote instruction today.
  • Select libraries and recreation centers will continue serving as warming centers.
  • Majority of SEPTA service to return tomorrow, with Regional Rail on a Saturday schedule.
  • Trash collection will resume on a day delay for the remainder of the week, with driveway collection suspended.
